Prepare these 5 drinks with gelato for a better taste

A drink to go with your meal is a perfect way to enjoy the complete experience. But sometimes the usual cocktails could get a little boring and you might want a little more added to your usual on the rocks to make it exciting. So what is more exciting than gelato. Blend the best ingredients that make the perfect cocktail and dessert together and you have an exciting new recipe to enjoy. Here are 5 drinks you can add gelato for an enhanced taste.

1.Caffe Shakerato con Gelato: A gelato infused version of a coffee filled cocktail, this Shakerato is blending coffee and desserts after dinner together into one. This Italian summer drink is a fresh taste of warm coffee beans structured into a smooth gelato for you to enjoy.

What you need:

  1. A scoop of vanilla or chocolate gelato
  2. 1 shot of room temperature espresso
  3. Lemon spirals or twist
  4. Chocolate Shavings
  5. ½ spoon of coffee liqueur
  6. Fresh cream

How to prepare:

  1. In a cocktail shaker add the liquor, gelato, and espresso and shake them together. Alternatively, you can also add them to a mason jar.
  2. Make sure the gelato is half melted before you pour into a glass and add lemon wheel after slightly refreshing the drink with some citrus oils. Add chocolate shavings from your favorites chocolate box to the top for garnishing.

  4. 1 bottle of cold prosecco

  6. ½ cup of peaches sliced
  7. ½ cup of raspberry sliced
  8. 1 scoop of gelato

  1. 2 cups of gin [pick a mild choice rather than anything that holds a strong string of floral flavors]
  2. 3 cups of prosecco [dry]
  3. 2 cups of your favorite sorbet or gelato [ A fresh fruit flavor will make this a great drink]
  4. Lemon wheels

How to prepare:

  1. In a glass add the gin and gelato or sorbet and mix them together.

  2. 1 ½ cups of bourbon or Glenlivet 12

  4. 6 cups of stout beer
